How to solve the stepper motor interference problem? We first go back to the source: in many cases, after we install the stepper motor, we will occasionally find that the stepper motor positioning is not accurate, and the function of the whole machine can not be realized according to the design requirements. After gradual elimination, if the problem is found to be caused by the installation of the motor, then at this time we have to consider whether the stepper motor is caused by interference.

Because the current and voltage of the stepper motor is relatively high, for example, some stepper motors have a maximum output current of 8A and a voltage of 325V, coupled with the fact that their shell is not magnetized with an aluminum alloy shell, it interferes with the highly sensitive receiver system, making it unable to work and interfering with the power supply. Especially at high frequency, it may cause the control system of the single chip computer and the host computer can not communicate normally, and even cause the single chip computer to crash, causing difficulties to normal use.

So, how do we solve the problem of stepper motor interference? According to the problems we actually encountered and the solutions of technical engineers on the site, Xiaobian is summarized as follows:

1. Install power filter to reduce the pollution of AC power supply.

2. One point grounding principle. Connect the power filter grounding, driver PE(ground)(driver and chassis bottom insulation), control PULSE PULSE- and direction pulse DIR- short-circuit of the lead wire, motor grounding wire, cable protective sleeve between the driver and the motor, and driver shielding wire to the grounding pole on the chassis wall, and ensure that the contact is good.

3, try to increase the distance between the control line and the power line (L, N), motor drive line (U, V, W), to avoid crossing. For example, when dealing with the installation of two drivers in the same chassis in a two-axle drive system, one driver nameplate faces forward, the other is facing back, and the structural arrangement makes these leads as short as possible.

4, the use of shielding lines to reduce external interference, or their own (power line) interference with the outside world.

5, signal isolation, metal plate isolation for equipment or devices with strong interference sources
